Philadelphia, Aug. 15, 2012 — Local senior citizens are invited to attend state Sen. Mike Stack’s upcoming annual Senior Expo on Friday, Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory, located at 2700 Southampton Road (at the corner of Roosevelt Boulevard).
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from many state and local agencies and community organizations that will provide plenty of information, including representatives from city, state and federal agencies and community organizations, including the Pennsylvania Lottery, Pennsylvania Department of Revenue, American Red Cross, various hospitals, and many other health and housing organizations. Refreshments will be provided.
“My annual senior expo is a one stop shop for information that is pertinent to our community’s older residents,” Stack said. “I welcome all seniors from my district to attend this informative event and learn more about the many resources that are available to them.”
