PHILADELPHIA, NOV. 1, 2007 – Local senior citizens are invited to attend state Sen. Mike Stack’s upcoming annual Senior Expo.

The Senior Expo will take place on Friday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pennsylvania National Guard Armory, located at 2700 Southampton Road (on the corner of the Roosevelt Boulevard).

“This is a popular event in our community, and I’m proud to be sponsoring the expo once again this year,” Stack said. “I invite our older residents to come out and take advantage of all the helpful information that numerous participating organizations are offering.”

Participants are invited to meet with representatives from many state and local agencies and community organizations will provide plenty of information, including SEPTA, the Pennsylvania Lottery, city agencies, hospitals and other health and housing organizations.
